Face? Heel?
Face is an abbrev for babyface. A term which is used to describe a good guy, someone who is well like by everyone else. Heel, therefore, is the exact opposite.
Since young, I have always wanted to be a good guy, a hero. I still could remember vividly the times I spent in front of my favorite cartoon show, watching and rooting for the heroes stopping the evil doers from taking over the world.. haha... I hated the villians and could never understand why they wanna destroy the world. A sense of justice was drilled deep down into my heart then.
Just before my primary school life came to an end, I remembered my form teacher telling the whole class "To be a good policeman, you gotta be a bad guy first? Only if you know how they think, what they do, that you can catch them?" That remark made such an impact to me then, that till this day, I have never forgotten it.
Well, seriously, that comment is a big heavy for kids to absorb lar, but he did make a very good point. Then again, I didnt really believe him till I grew older. I started to work towards becoming the guy that all teachers like, a teacher's pet you would call it. However, I became very unpopular with the rest of the world. haha.. U can say I am an Outcast. Someone that people just hate. I began to question myself, "I thought I am the good guy here?" Well, after some incident, I became quite tired and gradually adopted a passive personality. I tried to become a face, yet I end up as a heel. (This is somewhat similar to Darth Vader)
As I grew up, I began to understand more of the mechanics in communications between people, therefore, I also understood why I ended up as a heel then. I saw my teacher's point. Therefore, I always make a point to think like a heel, whenever required. Well, i am not at the dark side yet, haha.. becuz my face would always put this knowledge to good use and suppress the heel thoughts. However, I do notice that I get bullied or taken for granted more often than not. (Heh, thats why good guys are hard to be).
To be the best face there is, you gotta be the best heel there is and vice versa.
Just like a book I read many years ago, a light bulb wont know how bright it is, until it knows how dark the rest are.

Haha, I wished I was misunderstood. Unfortunately, I wasnt. Anyway, I guessed I learnt more that way. Thats wat I meant by seeing the big picture as a heel. Thx for the confidence=)
