My FAVOURITE "SPORT"
Well, finally onto the main topics=) Have been wanting to write something like this for a long long time, just din get the chance to. I ll start by saying this,
I LOVE WRESTLING!!!!!!
Its has always been something that I can look forward to every week since 1998 when my buddy introduce me the entertainment.
I get lotsa comments from people saying that I am boliao, sick & twisted,.. blah blah... but not once did I ever think of discontinuing my support for the federation. The best comment ever given by anyone is that "IT'S FAKE". Haha, of course it's fake, anyone could have concluded that 5 mins into the show. However, that is precisely the reason why I am watching it. Yes, ppl, I am watching it because it's fake. If I had wanted something "real", I could have turn to Sumo Wrestling.
I remember having this communications lesson few years back in my University days. The requirement is to do a public presentation on any topic that u like. I had of course chosen this to blabber about in the short span of 5 min. I got lotsa applause (Yeah! Standing Ovation!!! Just kidding) at the end of the session. Apparently, the class had found it an interesting topic. However, my scores speaks otherwise. It is still high score but wasnt that fantastic. I guess the lecturer din find that really amusing, as I ended up in the same classification with a guy from another class whom I heard, gave a talk on "Piracy is here to Stay, whether You want it or NOT!". Wahaha... I am sure he got his standing ovation and I definitely would like to be there to listen to that, but I really doubt his lecturer will stand by his talk. Hahahaha....
Coming back, here are some of the reasons I presented years ago,
1) It is FUNNY!!
Yes, its not only about slamming and beating the hell outta each other. I guess I inherited a lot of my humour from it. haha..... *Gd or Bad thing?*
2) Live Acting, NO NG!
This is what I call real actors & actresses, no NGs!!!! When they fell down from 15 feet steel cage or goes through a table, there is simply no way u can redo it again! Every lines in the script are memorised to perfection!!!
3) Superb Stunts
Yes, the punches are fake, its an action and reaction thingy. However, u cant say the same abt the slams!!! No matter how the stage is designed to reduce the impact, it is still OWWWWWWCCCCCHHHH.....! Every slam is unique attached with a really interesting name. They are without a shadow of doubt, the greatest stun man alive.
4) Special Finisher Concept
The move that does the most damage & supposely, able to knock the other wrestler out. Well, I think this most anticipated move is nothing more than nice-to-look at. Still, the electricity felt from the audience when it was done,... wooo... u say it, ppl!
5) Nice wrestlers with great voice, ie THE ROCK!
Live singing concert!!! Funny & Nice to hear!
6) Variety of Storyline
U name it, love story, comedy, spoof of movies,... blah....
"Why dun I like musical?" Girls like to ask me that. Do you know why now? *Grin*

Glad to see u finally start ur blog.
Somehow I'm not surprised the first few posts are wrestling related.
